Yep. So it seems to be a threading bug in NSProgressIndicator that either never existed in x86 or was fixed in 10.6. Either way, :(
Good news: my app runs on my mom's Powerbook G4! Bad news: it crashes in ways it does not crash on my Intel. Hmm.
Time for a little debugging session over FogCreek Copilot (free on weekends!).
Pulling down the Chrome source code because I want to see if I can hack in some behavior I want. This checkout is taking quite a while!
@mydwynter So why not call it "project netting"?
From leftovers and sundries, I have concocted an Indian Pizza Potato. Verdict: tasty
@mydwynter Yeah. It's not perfect. When you're awake and downstairs, I'll show you the downsides.
@xarker Love that movie. Makes me wish I had cable.
Putting my music library on Lala.
@mydwynter I haven't noticed an extreme mosquito problem inside the house. That's why it's called "inside the house".
The FFox json bookmark representation is a bit complex. Deciphering it might take a while.
An old forum message says that if you give Delicious your json bookmarks file instead of the html one, it will import the tags. Testing now.
I need an Xmarks bookmarklet. They do not have one. I know! I'll build my own! Nope, no public API either.
Wow. I've been trying to find this functionality off-and-on for a good year now. And it's worked the entire time and I just didn't know it.
So I guess delicious is still better than Xmarks. Openness ftw.
I could consider this a huge fail on my part. I will instead, congratulate Delicious once again on a superior product. Huzzah.
Exporting FFox bookmarks as json also doesn't seem to include tags. Really?
I just need to write a quick app to import Firefox bookmarks into delicious while leaving tags intact. Surely possible, right?
Delicious does indeed import Firefox tags if you use the json export instead of the html export. Wow.
Exporting FFox bookmarks as HTML does not include tags. It includes the base64 icon. But not the tags. Open source. Boy, I just don't know.
It seems so strange that an API isn't available. An API is *always* available. It's almost 2010!
Wait. No. I found the tags.
HEY IT'S SATURDAY. I know! I'LL WAKE UP AT 7 AND NOT BE ABLE TO GO BACK TO SLEEP! Great idea!
Trajan is the movie font - http://drawn.ca/2009...
@bakersdog Never seen one of those before. Nice.
This tweet is coming from inside the Chrome Alpha for OS X (which I'm using based on the rec from @geniodiabolico). BLAZING FAST.
I've been avoiding the alpha for so long now just because I rely on my browser and didn't want to use alpha software. butholycrapitsworthit
@HeatherSolos Oh, she'll be *fine*. You have celebratory emails and such to write.
