Heading out to dim sum.
Plus there's another fireworks show off in the distance -- FedEx Field? Annapolis? Balmer? No idea.
Watching the fireworks at @ispencer's place in Rosslyn -- tons of people on the street below. http://twitpic.com/9calh

"No one wants to be defeated."
Big O's Jason Quick now says: no deal btw Hedo and Blazers. Ho-kay! Fine w/ that, nothing against Turkoglu per se.
@jeffq73 Whoa, now we're getting mathematical. In any case, what I said != the final word on Larry Sabato.
Larry Sabato on FNC talking about Sarah Palin just now. Or as I prefer to think of him, Not Not Larry Sabato. #bentribbettlives
Whoa, what? Sarah Palin presser? I've missed all this. Thanks a lot, Appetite for Destruction!
"I've seen everything imaginable / pass before these eyes / I've had everything that's tangible / honey you'd be surprised "
Can't wait to read the emails from Sarah Palin's Argentine lover.
So the Blazers got Hedo Turkoglu. Don't get me wrong. Hedo is awesome. But he's also 30. And what of Rudy Fernandez?
"you thought of everything, but one thing you forgot is you're wrong"
Now listening: Built to Spill's "Perfect From Now On" -- a masterpiece. If Doug Martsch never does anything else, he's made the world better
"Moon Pie... what a time to be alive!"
In the past 18 hours, have found out that neither @cjciaramella nor @pparmley have seen Michael Mann's Heat. This is next to unbelievable.
Still don't understand why iLike keeps sending updates about Philly, Balmer shows, but not the District. It knows damn well where I live.
Ruthlessly deleting bacn [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki...] subscriptions from my Gmail account. It's about as close to Thoreau as I get.
Two Red Bulls deep and the day has hardly begun. Actually, they're oversize cans, so it's really more like three.
@evanmc_s If he's not charging lobbyists to attend, fine. No doubt it gets blurry, but WaPo is crossing more lines than Mark Sanford.
RT @evanmc_s: I wonder what Dana Milbank has to say about those WaPo Salons? | Betcha HuffPo would host 'em if they could.
If this is true, just wow -- "Washington Post sells access, $25,000+" http://www.politico.com/news...
@oregonclematis Zing! Plus, I bought "Off the Wall" this morning, which I may actually like better overall.
@rickspies In your face, Strawberry! </homer>
@rickspies I am -- that's a great album. And I can think of lots of 3 songs in a row I like, but none with as much cultural impact.
@rickspies I can take the heat! Seriously, I can't think of a more classic 1-2-3 album sequence, even counting the Beatles.
How did Reuters title this "Bing search wins share"? According to the numbers, it should be "Bing hardly makes a dent": http://www.reuters.com/article...
OK, so MJ is gone. Now I'm mourning the Soderbergh/Pitt take on "Moneyball"; sounds like it would have been awesome: http://deadspin.com/5305316...
@levjoy "Dairy Midas" is genius. So true. And Google results shows no prior usage. I will try to help popularize.
@reginahopper Sad indeed. Amazingly successful as he was, I can't imagine anyone wanting to trade places with him.
@levjoy Completely agree. I'd add "Human Nature". I used to hate "The Girl is Mine" and, while still cheesy, more than listenable.
