Correct, speaking from an employer's perspecting unless you have a great rapport in the interview with the person, anyone with "caveats" will seem like a big risk. That goes for disabilities, being foreign, being the wrong gender for the "standard", looking weird, being young, being old. Alas, that's the way it is.
