Rob, I continued with the plan I had (here in Canada) which I started with a plain ol' SIM-based cell phone. I don't have iphone-specific functionality (like visual voicemail) or internet access via cell network, so I just use wifi for email/browsing. It's a 1st gen iphone. - Micah Wittman

No iphone. Verizon is way better than AT&T for me. I tried AT&T for 6 months (family plan with my brother) and it was way worse in my travel areas. Doesn't work in my parent's house in Ohio. Drops more calls (and delivers voice-mails late) about 10X as often as Verizon. On the other hand, if I lived in Fairfax, CA, I'd have to have AT&T, since Verizon is poor in north Marin. - Mitchell Tsai

Nope! I don't have one and don't want one. My WindowsMobile based HTC Touch Pro has a full keyboard, has less restrictions (totally open system), and has more features. Also, I use Sprint which has faster data speeds anyway, and since I'm on the grandfathered SERO program, I only pay $30/mo for unlimited EVERYTHING. most of my iphone buddies pay at least TRIPLE THAT every month. hahaha, suckers! - veo
