At the Head of the 'Hooch! Rowers on water today, race tomorrow - 5000 rowers, 10,000 spectators, and 1200 boats. Beautiful today, even better tomorrow - 70s and sunny. Nay's boat races at 9:15, the girls' at 1:00, coaches at 4:30. Go WYRA!

Going to call it a nite...check in on election coverage...cram 3 days work into one then leavin' on Thursday at 4:00 a.m. bound for Chattanooga, TN - the Head of the 'Hooch!

Just got back from voting...voted straight ticket Dem first time ever...gonna hear it from my dad and Uncle Fred but the other party just didn't give me a reason to vote FOR it...wanted to, am concerned about spending, felt guilty about it, but nobody has stepped up on the other side...OK, dad...Uncle Fred...take your best shot ;-).

Going to Halloween Party - raiding Nathan's costumes! Need to buy candy, make some appetizers...the 'ol standby pepperoni rolls may be the ticket!

Working on a school website...Larry Graham's "One in a Million You" just came on my Pandora station - best in-love song EVER!

Working on getting a reasonable flight to Chatanooga next week...Nay is rowing in the Head of the 'Hooch. Just bested his erg PR (personal record) by 20 secs yesterday...texted MOM after he did it...so glad he's the only cos I don't have to feel guilty when I say he's my FAVORITE!

Listening to WowsyDowsy Radio on Pandora while I'm adding a shopping cart for WYRA.org (my son's rowing club) - Gino Vanelli ( I know it shows my age!) but I do love him! Ooooh...and followed by Earth Wind and Fire's Shining Star. Life is Good!

Phillies off to the World Series! Yes, I admit it - I'm totally jumping on the bandwagon. Only two professional baseball games I've ever gone to, well, I fell asleep.

What a crappy weekend for the Head of the Charles...not one, but two, nor' easterns...Our WYRA girls are going....go GIRLS! But November on the 'Hooch should be better!

Nathan and Barry did their first cycling time trial this weekend...Nay missed his start time by 2 min but they let him go anyway (yeah)...Was a fun day. His friend won the TT for the 15-18 year olds - congrats Greg! Barry was happy with his performance, too!

Watched Australia this weekend. Movie wasn't superb...but Hugh Jackman was worth the watch!
