Still no clear situation with the video codec support in HTML 5. What's about offering H.264 in Firefox with some kind of extension? Could this help the license issue?

Quote from Jonathan Ive: "We don't do focus groups. They just ensure that you don't offend anyone, and produce bland inoffensive products." This may be a major reason why it's so hard for competitors to match the fascination of Apple products on own ones.

Hopefully we will see the same possibilities for the iPhone and Android platform as well soon: "A message bus is used to expose underlying platform capabilities to third-party applications through JavaScript. This means that third-party webOS software has full access to hardware features like the GPS and camera, and it also has the ability to leverage software features like the addressbook and dialer. It's worth noting that Palm's own first-party applications, such as the calendar, are built with the same technology."

Still Xing really holds a good position in Europe. This should be enough for the moment, but wondering where they see their options for future growth. But the same is true for LinkedIn. They have hard times in China and Europe and may have the same business issues sooner or later.

Looks nice. Damn there is still now option to try-out applications in the app-store for a trial period. Impressive: Is there any other market twhere is so much competition than for twitter apps?

Something I had thought will be true for IE only, is now also valid for Firefox. Competition is increasingly hard in the browser market of today: "Firefox will continue to rely on its vast base of developers and users who value their customizations over superlative claims, so long as Mozilla keeps its browser close enough to its competitors."

-@ilinsky "img" should be replaced with "image" in HTML 5 and deprecate "img". Unfortunately needs time to be supported by the vendors.
Manche Sachen, die unterstützt werden sind so offensichtlich wahnsinnig, dass man echt Kopfschmerzen bekommt. Das Reduzieren von Denken kann hier helfen ;)
