Rephrase: Windows 7 has some nutty (and creative) backgrounds, but they didn't update screensavers, which makes me laugh a little.
I really wish my Mac would warn me before it shuts down instantly and everything goes black.
Thunderbird for email, then the big programs, and I'm done. Of course, still have to set all the email accounts up and such, but still ..

Installing all the random Web-downloadable programs I need before dealing with ISO files. So far, so good. So far, pretty speedy.
@sMoRTy71 The compatiblity checker is telling me I can't run Aero. Wondering if a) that's true and b) if it matters.

@bakes Unfortunately, I only have Win 7 Home I think. Plus, I need the fancy mobility settings that supposedly aren't available in Starter.
