Aman, how do you search for a task on a particular date? Say i want to know what i have to do today - how do i do that? - Zee.

I just use it as a quick things to remember. And as I am logged into Gmail the whole day (and night) it makes sense for me to just put things in there if I have to do it quickly. I seldom use the date feature. But I am sure you cannot search that. The best idea would be to integrate this with Google calendar. I have already posted that as a suggestion to Google (Gmail). :) - Aman

I would use it a lot more if it wasn't tied to GMail. If there was something like tasks.google.com that would be frick'n awesome. I find it's easier to go to the Tasks iPhone app than open Gmail just to manage a task. - Troy Forster

@Troy I totally agree with you. A lot (read almost) of my tasks are in my Blackberry (tied to Gcal). I just use Gmail tasks to quickly jot down stuff at one place. So, that I dont loose stickies and can access them even if I don't have access to my own notebook. - Aman

I use it like a list - just add the date to your task text and take care you are entering by date, pressing enter between two entries allows you to add new entry on that date then you have date wise tasks - TrafficBug
