Heh - my brain was trying to figure out what "sleep face" might be, and whether I'm lacking in it. Doh!
- Ladybug Heather
Heather, this is why you and I get along. That's how I read it too.
- ♥patricia♥
Partners of women who lack sleep face increases of a variety of injuries...
- MVB (Curmudgeon of FF)
I saw this in the mini-window and wondered how women could injure their sleep faces. [edit: For the record, I'm probably stuffed full of cancerous cells, with my awful sleep practices]
- MiniMage TKDteacher of FF
nah, i totally agree. someone ought to be manning that twitter feed. He's the President-Elect. Somoene could sign in and tell us what's up.
- Jack Lhasa
More smart (not silly:)) twittering! Especially if you're the new President.
- Igor Poltavskiy
Marvelous. I like that. But too much energy needed. The graphic cards. You need a air conditioning in that room for sure (or no heater if you live in northern canada :) )

World of warcraft, to play fully, requires what really is a lot like work - need to do certain things every day, gather materials, make some gold etc. It is too much like work. What I enjoy in games is the exploring and figuring things out, plenty of the first on in Wow and none of the latter. The rest is just too much like work. So why do I still play 1-2 nights a week? The people I...

@Joelle I couldn't agree more. I've quit WoW now, but towards the end even though I didn't want to play, I kept at it for quite a while. The reason was the social pressure that WoW exerts- I felt like I was *expected* to be online every day by my friends and by my guild. It ceased to be fun, but I kept at it until, mercifully, my computer was stolen and I had the strength of will not to reinstall it on my new computer :-)
- David Adam
i still enjoy wow at reasonable doses, but then I always was in a guild trying the tricky job of being casual (as in not demanding a level of attendance as if it were a job or school, focusing on personality and connections more than gear etc.) while still raiding - and pulled it off for a very long time (losing people who were too driven on a regular basis cause we didnt get far enough...

But clearly WOW expects people to work at it as if it was a second job - I probably sound like a games geek, and I guess I am an enthusiastic player of games but I am very far from hard core I was always a bit of a middle-core gamer. I dont like to have to *work* at a game, I'm not going to go read forums and sites to get all the stats and whatnot, I always gave up in games when a boss...

apologies to the people who just got all my ramblings via IM //evil//

If it's mostly blogging, wordpress has it nailed (it's WP's major functionality). Drupal is better described as a CMF, Content Management Framework, rather than a CMS, and is therefore more general - designed for building webapps.

Blogger.com - I tried them all, and finally switched back to Blogger.com. It is reliable, customizable, and you can concentrate of what a blog is supposed to: Blogging!

How do we all feel about this? Personally, I would put ads in my tweets, and I wouldn't object to others doing the same. Ads are all the same to me, they get ignored.
- Will Higgins™
hmm, i dunno - tweets are so short that i probably would unfollow anyone who added them to their tweets. But on a twitter background, even though i wouldnt do it - i wouldn't blame people who did.
- Zee.
The problem with this is that you probably won't be able to tell the difference between an ad and, let's say, a site that the "twitterer" is actually recommending. Unless the user is providing amazing content, I'd probably unfollow.

from twhirl
I'm yet to see this in action - is there a Magpie disclaimer in the tweet at all? if it's at all detectable, it's an automatic unfollow as far as I'm concerned
- David Miller
is this, firstly, in concordance with the twitter tos? i find it hard to believe.
- Tibi Puiu
I am going to try it. Says I can make $98.41!
- Stowe Boyd
Something is wrong, it says I can make $7,703!
- Eric Sessions
I tried Twittads, not Magpie. Magpis says I could make 286.11 €/month
- Stowe Boyd
What a weird service. It says I can make 5.08€/month.
- Captain Bubbles
Oh boy, I could make 3 bucks a month. :/ Not worth it in my opinion. Interesting concept though.
