Yes. Mexican Coca Cola bottlers still use sugar cane. American bottlers use high fructose corn syrup. I've never had the Mexican version, but I've heard the taste is incomparably better than the American version.

Thank Archer Daniels Midland for forcing soft drink market to their high fructose corn syrup products. They have a lot of "clout".

Sugar is superior than fructose is it not? It taste better too. I do know both criteria are subjective but I'd prefer sugar.
