i'm pretty disturbed by the reddit's community hatred for israel. it's the wisdom of the crowds phenomenon minus the wisdom.
Do you mean pluralistic ignorance? Or merely that without diversity of opinion you don't get any actual wisdom out of crowds? - Adewale Oshineye
i guess the wisdom of crowds only kicks in when people make decisions in isolation. in reddit's case its self-reinforcing groupthink. - Yariv

Still not working, but they now put up a "We're sorry!" page with a "Continue Shopping" button that brings us back to the "Http/1.1 Service Unavailable". I guess that's progress? - Dan Hsiao
