@aphyr_ I guess that's something else your Droid does that my iPhone doesn't.
Thought things were finally calming down towards the end of the day. In hindsight, I should've stopped checking email *right fucking then*.
I don't think I've spent more than five consecutive minutes on a single task today.

"MagicPrefs is a free menubar application for OSX which aims to improve the functionality and configuration options of the Apple Magic Mouse. @slicknet But when I need to respond to a specific point, I find people are more likely to read my response if I put it inline, w/context.
@slicknet Maybe the minutia shouldn't have been included in the original email to begin with then. ;)
@slicknet Nonsense. I'm perfect. Obviously.
@izs Because people who do nothing but attend meetings are too lazy to manage their schedules manually.
@izs Bad decision to be sure, but the root cause is a serious bug in Exchange 2007 that Microsoft refuses to patch. Sad.
@slicknet I usually prefer it, assuming it's warranted (which it often is).

Criticism, Cheerleading, and Negativity - http://al3x.net/2009...
'There is the perception, particularly in American culture, that criticism and negativity go hand-in-hand. We understand well the idea of being in favor or something, or against something, but we don’t particularly understand how criticism fits into this dichotomy. As someone with a penchant for criticism, I’ve often found myself misjudged as “being negative” when mere complaint is furthest from my intention.' - Ryan Grove

Replaced old Soekris net4501 running m0n0wall with an ALIX 2D3 running pfSense. I love that my net connection is so fast this was necessary.
@davglass Oh, good. :P
@davglass You got a new dev box? From IT? They've had mine on hold for weeks claiming they don't have any inventory. :(
@triptych Whoops. Now with less spelling fail: http://skitch.com/bitwise...
@ysaw Glad to know my tax dollars are spent making government conference rooms look like freaking Michael Bay movies.
The Y! talent acquisition folks always try to schedule me for interviews before sending me the candidate's resume. I've started resisting.
Dear God, please confirm what I already believe - http://www.newscientist.com/article...
'"People may use religious agents as a moral compass, forming impressions and making decisions based on what they presume God as the ultimate moral authority would believe or want," the team write. "The central feature of a compass, however, is that it points north no matter what direction a person is facing. This research suggests that, unlike an actual compass, inferences about God's beliefs may instead point people further in whatever direction they are already facing."' - Ryan Grove
