Zee.
lol Corrrrvidarrrrgghhh - love it. - Zee.
How does this compare to Twhirl? Anyone tried it? - Richard Barley
personally, neither do it for me. I think it depends however if you prefer the separate windows of twhirl or the single feed. - Zee.
I like the single feed of FF, with the option to limit what I see via the lists. Though I wish I could get 2 columns...I have a 24" screen and there's so much wasted space. - Jaemi Kehoe
Still looking for something like this for iPhone. Doesn't FF already support the other three sites shown in that pic? - Ernie Oporto
@Ernie i'm not a huge fan of feedalizr but you can actually post to all of them - Zee.
lots of bugs. no DM/replies view, lots of other issues - mjc
nice ! - Amir-B
I tried it, not bad, but until something can knock out twhirl, i think I'll stick with that. Does it have a shorten url function? - Bryan R. Adams
how many of this apps are out there... - Manuel de la Peña
Manuel, "a few", but only about 1 are worth using, that be Twhirl. It's not perfect but any means but the best out there atm IMHO. - Kol Tregaskes
This seems very passé now that the latest Friendfeed beta is in-place. I'm in love. Really. - Niklas Pivic
try this! - junrxu
First AIR app for FF. Will try!! - Praveen Vasudev
Was it? I prefer Twhirl and Alerty Thingy (when it supported it). - Kol Tregaskes

Microsoft considers adopting WebKit for Internet Explorer | AppleInsider - http://www.appleinsider.com/article...
... The student put Ballmer on the hot seat by asking, "Why is IE still relevant and why is it worth spending money on rendering engines when there are open source ones available that can respond to changes in Web standards faster?" ... - Renato Albano
I've been playing with IE8 lately. It looks like Chrome already, not just the rendering engine, but also its look and feel. - Otavio Ferreira

Dear XP, I don't give a crap if you recently updated and I need to restart. I'm busy on FriendFeed. STFU

I SO dont wanna go back to FriendFeed on the Dell Mini I just ordered. I wonder if I can cram Vista on it :) - Soulhuntre from twhirl

I turned off Automatic Updates. It'll update when I tell it to update. - Morton Fox
Rah, I love you like a brother and all, but the irony of seeing this post right below your Mac rant is PRICELESS!!! - FFing Enigma
It had been telling me there was an update for weeks now. The update kept failing. on a whim, I went ahead and told it to go ahead. I don't see why the f*ck I need to restart for a PowerPoint Viewer security update. I do not used that crap. (just for the record, Rah does not have any MAC hate. Just hate seeing iBLeh every other post..LOL) - Rah-PM 2012
But what if it is a necessary security update? Isn't there some statistic that unpatched XP computers can get viruses in so many minutes? - Rishabh Mishra (p248)
+1 for Rah... and then -1 for using Windows... = 0 - Kyle Lacy
I'm avoiding updating Firefox for that reason. - Rochelle
yeah you tell your computer! - Jay
Wait, updating Firefox on Windows requires a computer restart? - Rishabh Mishra (p248)
possible248, no, but it takes quitting/restarting Firefox which means I'd have to be away from FriendFeed for 30 seconds!!!!!!!!! - Rochelle
I would use a MAC if I could...I think...maybe... - Rah-PM 2012
Yes Rah.. come to the MAC side..... commmmeee - Kyle Lacy
Nah, just go Linux - FFing Enigma
I have 2 Linux boxen downstairs. Also have a MAC downstairs. I think I prefer the convenience of this old XP laptop, though. I wonder if I could do something useful remotely using VNC or something... - Rah-PM 2012
Why not just put linux on your box? A partition would do the trick. - FFing Enigma
Laptop = box in the previous comment, btw... - FFing Enigma
Well, I am an old-school Linux guy, but I have been out of the loop as far as hardware support goes. I came up during a time when putting Linux on a laptop was like trying to get a black guy nominated for president, so I never bothered. Also, this laptop only has a 60GB HD, so that was another reason I never bothered. Seemed like not enough room to breathe. - Rah-PM 2012
If it'll fit XP it'll fit a stripped down Ubuntu - FFing Enigma
LOL - Mona Nomura
See, Tina...now you're making me want to repartition my laptop. Like seriously. I wonder if I could do the dual-boot thing on here. I can't totally ditch XP, but there are things I could probably do MUCH more efficiently in Linux. - Rah-PM 2012
Check out some of the stripped Unbuntus, or even the pen drive linux that's available. Now THAT's tempting... - FFing Enigma

NBC Drops Silverlight, Runs Back to Adobe for Flash - http://www.readwriteweb.com/archive...
Hehehe. Sweet Vendetta! Expect a comment from John Dowdell in T minus 10... 9... 8... 7.... - Aldo Bucchi from FriendFeed MT Plugin
But Flash choked on the NFL Opener. Now what are they gonna do, go back to Silverlight. Sheesh. - Oldengrey (Jay)
The Silverlight install was huge beyond belief. Control Panel said it was taking up 4GB of space. - James Williams
James: Which control panel? - Oldengrey (Jay)
yeah and did u see how horrible flash went for them? streaming nfl quality was terrible. - adolfo foronda
Uh, Silverlight is not a 4GB install. - Jordan Hofker
thinking james must have gotten the "trojan.win32.longjohn.silverlight" download from driveby.installwarez.cn ;-) - Karim
Yeah good riddance! Silverlight was a bother to install and then the video was a scaling nightmare...I don't mind flash choking a little, it will fix itself. It did do the job though: MSFT knows what they have to fix and NBC has leverage for the next silverlight video exclusive negotiations... - Anthony Farrior from FriendFeed MT Plugin
I used to work for macr and now a client is requiring me to use Silverlight. I see the pros and cons of both, but it is a little like groundhog day. - Oldengrey (Jay)
