Hate: Weight gain issues like Jeremiah mentioned; feel tired/run-down faster now; memory loss (which is secondary to having a hugely stressful job!!); not as much of a "looker" now...ignored more in favor of younger women (ouch); rejected more. Love: Respect, knowledge/wisdom factor is awesome!; street smarts, business saavy "capitol", better communication, people / political saavy; historical context is now present (better decisions/info); deeper tech domain knowledge / skill set ... big picture is big! - Susan Beebe

Eh, I've had dog, it's not even that good, and it's freaking expensive. The criticisms of it are pretty hypocritical, though, unless you're a vegan -- it's not like they're snatching Lassie and boiling her, and if you look at how cows, pigs, etc. meet their end in big industrial farms, it's no worse. - John Biesnecker

Dave, because it is often cheaper to render an image of an item that does not exist than trying to get a single, or a couple of moc-up products for a photoshoot. If you know the design of your next car, and want to start adverts before they reach production, then this makes sense. - Apollo Gonzales

I knew this girl who was trying to build a realistic looking whale in CG, so realistic that it doesn't even show any emotion or personality. I still don't see the point of that even today as someone a working creative type. there's really no point of doing that in CG. Same to me with these cars. - Dave@yummyporky
