"Step aside, Android 2.0 -- Android 2.0.1 has arrived. Verizon is rolling out its first update to the Motorola Droid phone this week, and many users are starting to receive the package today. Android 2.0.1 is a relatively minor update, but it brings a handful of performance and aesthetical changes that pack some extra punch into the Droid experience."

JooJoo will have a 12.1-inch capacitive touchscreen, 4 GB solid state drive, an accelerometer that will allow it to switch between landscape and portrait modes, Wi-Fi connectivity and a battery life of up to five hours. It will run a custom-designed operating system that will allow the machine to boot in nine seconds and access the internet near-instantaneously. JooJoo has a capacitive touchscreen, which means it is about as responsive as an iPhone touchscreen and as much of a delight to use. There’s also an LCD screen that supports high-definition content. Overall, it measures about 13.3-inches deep, but has a slimmer profile than Apple’s Macbook Air. JooJoo runs a custom operating system built by Fusion Garage and boots in just under nine seconds directly to a homepage screen. It’s fast and takes the user directly to services that they may use. The homepage screen is divided vertically into three sections: Be connected, Be informed, and More apps. Under the ‘Be connected’ tab, there...

"Thank you so much! You are the first person to say such an amazon comment! I'm really glad you like it! And I will keep posting! Do you have a Twitter account, I'd love to follow you in the non-creey sorta way. "
- Zachary TG
Just a little more patience for the Apple iTablet/iPad (iWhatever) ... sure, price tag will be $699 - 849 but you will get what you pay for and it will blow all other tablets away immediately. Don´t cry Arrington.
- HansVanRock
Pricing mentioned earlier was always delusional.
- Brian Sullivan
hah! It's in the room! It is considered very Pre-beta.. still broken stuff.. but I want to know If I should continue on this path, or make a drastic change.. http://ff.im/4DGzk
- Tim Hoeck
Hi, I'd like to give AndFeed a try!! Sign me up for beta testing, thanks!
- DvD
Hi Daniel, as soon as I have a new version ready to test, I'll include you.. recently, I've been a bit busy, and haven't been able to work on it.
- Tim Hoeck
I'd love to beta test too! sign me up...
- Dylan Lorimer
Looks amazing. I just need an Android device.
- Zachary TG
@Tim activated my andriod today (HTC Hero) and would _love_ to be able to try out this app. seems you're busy right now - that's cool. just let me know when you have a beta to test and i'd be happy to give you feedback. cheers!
- MikeAmundsen
Yes, I hate that I haven't had time to get back to this.. but I have something a bit bigger planned, we'll see how it pans out... congrats on the phone :)
- Tim Hoeck
@Tim: no problem. now tha FF is kinda on the downslide, i can see that something like this project might need to move to the back burner. the "something bigger" tease is cruel, tho<g>.
- MikeAmundsen
If you're still looking for beta testers, I'd love to give it a whirl.

"Happy Thanksgiving! We already had ours (Canadian!) and I hope you don’t get salmonella poisoning, we almost did! The turkey wasn’t cooked after 12 hours! Thanks to whoever invented the microwave! Happy Thanksgiving Americans! (And Scott Kelby, and team, and family!)"
- Zachary TG
"I agree. I want to love the Pixi, but not enough power. And the Pre still lacks video recording, so again I cannot get that. The Droid (Milestone) isn’t in Canada untill early 2010, and I don’t want an iPhone. Hero it is :)"
- Zachary TG
"I agree with Navarr. Best Buy doesn’t really have time or the money to spend worrying what religions they may hurt. They don’t have time or money to create a page with sayings like: ‘Happy Kwanzaa’ ‘Happy Hanukkah’ ‘Merry Christmas’ ‘Happy Yule’ They don’t really need to either. And really, how hard would it have been to think of something more creative then your rebuttal? Really? I thought humans evolved from moneys, not into apes."
- Zachary TG
"I love your blog, and I love your photography. I am thirteen (male), and I love photography. You inspire me to do better I just wish these items were cheaper But I know photography is expensive! I am itching to buy a Drobo, but I cannot afford it And with the new Drobos that came out today, you would have thought the older ones would be cheaper. Nope Hmm, I guess I will get a Drobo in four years"
- Zachary TG
I love these sorts of creative things!
- Rick Cogley
I always wish they'd show what these things look like from something other than the exactly perfect perspective. Because to most people passing by these would look totally different.
- Brian Johns
These never get old. Thanks for sharing. :)

Kynetx launch of their developer platform. Seriously - you really need to look at what they're doing. It's the biggest thing I've seen since the Facebook platform launch.
- Jesse Stay
Jesse: I'm looking, I just don't get it. Their marketing really is sub-par and all your hype doesn't explain WHY it is important. Facebook was INSTANTLY recognizable as important.
- Robert Scoble
Kynetx is important because Scoble doesn't understand it. This is a big plus.
- Cliff Gerrish
Cliff: it took me 1.5 years to get RSS. But the thing is I still got it before most of you did. I will figure out Kynetx, but the marketing on its site really doesn't do a revolution justice, if Jesse is right.
- Robert Scoble
Robert, I'll do several more blog posts about it. It will take some examples to truly show its power.
- Jesse Stay
I agree they need to improve their marketing though
- Jesse Stay
Robert: if you hated SideWiki; you'll really hate Selectors + Kynetx. But, you should start by reading Craig Burton. The evolution from Cookies to Selectors is the key.
- Cliff Gerrish
Craig's a really smart dude - I finally got to meet him this last week and boy was I impressed.
- Jesse Stay
I did that, but I was heading vertical, school had a vaulted ceiling and I went running, stepped on a chair right were it dropped, on impact both shoes fell off, one hit a guy in the face.
- Jimminy Fuller
wonder if that kid had aspirations of being a stunt guy... "dignity, always with dignity" ;)

If I weren't afraid of going right through the wall, I'd probably still try that. I know I would have done that (and did similar things quite often) when I was much younger.
- Curtiss Grymala
This is still superb this morning after. :-)

Defining the line between brave and stupid?
- Eoghann Irving
If I did that, first the wall would collapse, and then the floor. (So, you see, it's not that I *couldn't*... I just choose not to, for the protection of others.)
- Mark "DerBingle" J
You're right. I don't have the guts...and I'm proud of that.
- Tammy Marshall
The alternative would be support for Android plug-ins within Chrome ... the reincarnation of the Java applet.
- scott anderson
Agreed. Well, sort of. I understand the Google philosophy that things shouldn't be complicated, but Android is mostly like Chrome OS, except Chrome OS is better suited for the desktop. Plus, if we load Android onto a desktop, apps won't display correctly with all of the pixel pushing.
- Zachary TG
Chrome OS is suited for the desktop only via its UI. Everything else makes it worthless for anything other than the cheapest tablet you can find

"Over the next few months, powerful phones will be released. Sony Ericsson and Samsung are confirmed to be pushing out phones in the 800 MHz to 1 GHz range. It’s an exciting time for Android. Now it’s Google’s turn to play catch up, so to speak. The hardware is coming. Now the software has to learn to utilize the extra power it will be granted."
