@derivadow got mine because it sticks out over the screen a bit to cushion if I drop. Makes me think it's slightly safer.
@Waalkman ha ha. Know the feeling.
@revdancatt my host works nicely. You thinking wordpress.com or self-hosted?
@iand Well, I use the M5 for one junction on my way to the M42, which I use for a few miles. Is it effecient to join a train for both?
@mrdatahs Congratulations!
@twfeed That's right, but only one feed appears now. I've used that login for three or so.
@iand I see. Me too. Sounds like a LOT of effort for an extremely marginal result. Might be fun to trial though.
@iand Only working out what's useful. I tried car-sharing in Herts, but small deviations in route add up, and makes commuting longer.
@chriskeene Generally a greeting like Hi (name). Never use "Dear" except when emailing MP.
@charlesarthur Quite possibly.
@iand Problem with "trains" is same as problem with car-sharing. You have to be going to the same place for significant portion of a journey
@charlesarthur Seems commaphobia is becoming more prevalent. I see sentences which desperately need them, and no one knows how to use them.
@stephenfry T5—the Microsoft paperclip says: "It looks like you're trying to run a large, international airport. Would you like some help?"
@ldodds re netbooks, still impressed with the Acer Aspire One. Nice little 'book. I think Ubuntu's an option, but I got XP (oops)
@brasileiragirl Went well, thanks. Couple new faces and a good time. Need to plan a Christmas do now.
WAtchin the Rugby...no more Twitter till it's over-which means after church, probably... I may be some time.
Well annoyed I've nudged my circadians back by a few hours. That was stupid. I'm VERY awake.
@collylogic Well impressed by 3 weeks #smokefree. Go 12 and I'll buy you a pint.
@bengoldacre Thought about Creative Commons-licensing your blog? easier to: "... quote me, steal my ideas, but credit me ..."
http://www.amazon.co.uk/UBI-Sof... looks like an interesting game... damn it, I feel about 13 at the moment.
@iandolphin24 £5 on Amazon...http://www.amazon.co.uk/2m-HDMI... I'm assuming this is what I need.
@iandolphin24 Hmm... looking very possible. Just need the video hdmi-dvi and stereo to 3.5mm jack adapter for sound... tempting...
@jamiebiddle ha ha, nah. Two problems: 1. worse support for monitor (I think) 2. Microsoft.
@iandolphin24 Trying to see if PS3 will work with my monitor and speakers rather than a TV (which I don't have).
@benosteen Oh... Mine has DVI, and it looks like hdmi-dvi is possible. Would that look crap? I have http://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitec... that sound good too
@benosteen Cool... mine doesn't though :(. New monitor time? I'm so far behind on this kind of kit, I don't even know "hdmi" or composite :(
Does anyone know: Can I get a #ps3 to work without a TV? Can I use a DVI monitor, for example?
@ldodds Problem is, I don't want to get a TV... can you play it with a monitor? LBP being a major influence in my kit-lust, I think.
@twfeed, somehow my old feeds don't appear on my dashboard anymore...
@ldodds yes, it really is. (tweetie 2 even better)
