: The continual snowfall and the calm winds are causing the wild birds to go apesh*t around the feeders, fighting to gorge themselves first.
: Hold on... this will get ugly. 15-25" of snow by Sunday morning, followed by 2" of rain on Christmas Eve. The snow is just a tease for us.

: As thresholds are approached, short-term priorities should be established to defend long-term goals.
: This was an excellent college football weekend.
: I wonder if our life insurance agent would approve of us wearing gold and blue into Rutgers Stadium. Let's gooooooooooo Mountaineers!
: At my job, I may encounter crazy "Huh...?" things, crazy "What...!?!" things, and crazy "Quick, hide!" things--2/3 of them so far today.
: When faced with lots of advice, everything usually turns out alright if I focus only on what I remember and not all that I wrote down.
: Let me welcome myself to University Park for my periodic show-your-face-to-prove-you're-still-alive meetings with advisors and friends.
: Why must we only run amok? Why can't we write amok, or speak amok, or organize amok?
: I totally underestimated the time required for a seemingly simple data analysis task, and now I'll sleep with guilt and wake distressed.
