I'd like the ability to setup something like this, yes (an alternate home screen with additional content and info, yes, please.) I think the current home screen is a good default, but users should have access to something similar to this. I'm not a fan of the actual layout, but that could be something that is tweaked over time. - Jennifer Dittrich

You can already do this. You need to be Jailbroken and then install lockscreeninfo. Works like a charm, and is totally configurable to what you want to display. - Keith Bennett
