Pro tip: When arriving at the airport for international travel, it is a good idea to arrive before your plane departs instead of after.

S'ok, luckily they rebooked me and were able to get me in the same day, albeit six hours later. No one to blame but myself. When I realized I was checking in at the arrival time instead of the departure time, my heart was pounding and I felt like the biggest fool on the planet.

Don't worry it happens to the best of us. I once booked to leave from two different bay area air ports to save money. and I forgot. Went to the wrong one to leave, luckily there was a southwest flight leaving at the same time and I arrived early enough that they rebooked me.
