Cook them in a bit of water, then saute with garlic, S&P and a splash or two of soy sauce, sesame oil, hoisin sauce and sesame seeds. - Adrian
BBQ'd on a grill - Rodfather
ooh, Adrian's idea is nice too. imma write these down for when i can eat food again! - Hieronymous Boosh
What Derrick said ... and sometimes I'll add some fresh parm on top. - Kristin
Similar to Adrian's method, but with butter and garlic. - Headless Gnad Kicker

Ooh! I don't have any parm but I could grate some gruyere. Wait, do I have a cheese grater? - Stephen Mack #TeamMomo from iPhone

grilled, w/ lime - chaz2b
Either roasted with a drizzle of meyer lemon grapeseed oil and a sprinkle of sea salt and pepper (goes excellent with fresh prosciutto and mozzarella if you don't want just a big plate of asparagus), or I cut them into bite-size pieces, boil for a couple of minutes in salted water just to take the raw out, then toss them in a modified carbonara (no pancetta). I only steam if I'm having them as a side dish (no butter or mayo, just S&P). - Hookuh Tinypants
Steamed for 4-5 minutes with little butter on top - Sir Vali
Grilled. Olive oil, salt, pepper. - Benjamin Golub
Just heard baked asparagus fries are good. Uses panko - Rodfather from iPhone
oh yeah, those are great. that reminds me that Burgerville has them right now. - holly #ravingfangirl
stir fry with beef or chicken in black bean sauce. - imabonehead
Roasted, with lemon and sea salt - Bren from iPhone
Fried by somebody else at the Asparagus festival in Stockton, Ca. - Eric from FFHound!
I like Eric's method. I also drizzle with olive oil, add salt and pepper and grill them. Then add some grated Romano cheese. - Mary Carmen
I also like them roasted with olive oil, salt and pepper. I bought some truffle butter and keep it in my freezer and sometimes put a pat or two on there as it comes out of the oven. It's really good. - Trish R
yep, that roasting method is spectacular (as is broiling or grilling the same simple way) - Michael W. May
Never had grilled asparagus. I have a grill now, AND an asparagus bunch, but I won't attempt it cos if I fuck it up I'll be mad with no asparagus! What I usually do is stir fry it. I used to make something like a pot pie with asparagus & ham in a cheesy cream sauce with frozen pie crust on top. That was my favorite but I lost my storage some time back & my recipe file is gone forever. - Starmama from FFHound(roid)!
