Lying with charts 101: Deceptions of scale

First image is some random data, with Excel's default scale (0 to 100). The second image shows the scale changed from 40 to 90, which highlights the amount of change. The third image changes the top scale to be 1000, minimizing the visibility of the change. The fourth image uses a logarithmic scale, flattening out the change almost completely. - Stephen Mack
