Hazel resizing more Tommy pictures accumulated over the last month.
Hazel had a hearty breakfast for dinner topped with a nice, long conversation with Warren. The Lord is gracious.
Warren preached last night on Isaiah 1:3 in a funeral. The donkey and the ox knows their master but we don't, we didn't even recognize the bread of life when He came, for we are dead in our sins, we have no capability to come to Him unless drawn by the Father. I could almost hear a pin drop amidst the crowd. Praise God for using Warren as His...
Lost two phones this morning and could not help but be angry at an employee's irresponsibility. I am so undermanned, I badly need three more pairs of hands to sprout from my sides. Sigh.
Hazel misses her quiet, simple, less-complicated life with Warrren and Tommy.
We're back online, finally! After weeks of waiting... It feels good to be "normal" again, haaayssss. :).
Hi everyone, we're still alive, just waiting for our internet installation. It's been a very trying, exhausting, brow-beating and back-breaking two weeks but God is faithful. P.S. Tommy updates: He is growing fast! He can now say Mama, Dada, Te-te (for Ate Emma), wave bye bye, put the mobile phone by his ear when you say "Hello?", shake his hands...
Surfin' via Globe Visibility, super slow... we're hoping to get real net connection within the week.
Hazel is already tired but still needs to keep going... I need to pack and hopefully be able to have enough energy still to play with my son.
Tommy's getting restless and cranky, could it be he's sensing his Dad's absence?
Warren is in Manila to attend to business matters. Sigh... Tommy and I are already missing him.
Witnessed oh-so-tender moments shared between Warren and Tommy last night that made me laugh and cry at the same time... Son gave Dad butterfly kisses on the lips as they both gazed into each other's eyes, then Son fell asleep beside Dad, the two shared a pillow... Mom? Oh, Mom slept on Son's bed. Mom's dethroned. :p.
Even grocery shopping isn't the same anymore... Almost 3/4 of the cart contained baby items and baby friendly items. No more chips, chocolates and other decadent delights for Mom and Dad, too!
At the children's section of the department store, the scene was surprising. I spent most of the time on the clothing section while Warren spent it on the toys section... Hmm, looks like I know now who will spoil Tommy more. And all the while I thought he was the disciplinarian, lol!
Hazel is amazed at how easily Tommy could wake up his Dad to play eventhough it is only 2AM. If it was me, he wouldn't even budge for the world.
Hazel is child-prrofing the house. I thought we had it all covered already but it seems what's enough for us is really not for our little explorer.
Hazel just had prayer meeting with the family. We were in tears most of the time because we could not thank God enough for giving us the privilege to parent Tommy. I was touched by Emma's prayer most of all. Praise God for bringing all these souls into my life...
Hazel is super exhausted but very happy.
Thank you to all of those who remembered, sent greetings via FB, email and SMS. I'm sorry if I was late in responding (or if I missed thanking anyone among you), I can barely keep up with my social life now that I'm a mom, lol!
Fishball vendor cum neighbor: "Where did you "get that" (child)?" (referring to Tommy) Me, taken aback and a bit thrown off by the "get that" remark: *serious tone*, "Oh, just along the roadside going to the city. I found a lump of cow dung with a baby on top of it so I picked up the baby and took him home." Seriously, "where did you get that...
Fun to watch Warren and Tommy play catch even if the ball they are using is as small as a tennis ball and is actually my anti-stress ball. Dad and son seem to be bonding well.
Hazel a:0:{}.
Happy Monday! Three more hours and we should be staring at Tommy's face via his photograph already!
My husband and I are blessed with Sunday night fellowship with Tito Norman. Praise God for sending people like him to encourage us during these very tough times.
Our son is one year and four months old. He was born June 19, 2008. That's the latest we gathered from our SW, we hope to finally be able to take a peek into his profile on Monday (and see his face via pix). Oh, and we did a little shopping trip to the mall for baby bottles, baby tooth brush, sipping cups and such items! Daddy Warren looked like...
Hazel is spending the weekend at the in-laws.'
Warren doesn'tknow this yet, text message just got in and he is studying and I don't want to disturb him... We have a match!!!!! Praise God! We will receive the details about our son soon! :).
Jodi Tada, you are such a blessing to me!
Matching is set for tomorrow. Please pray for Tommy! We really hope to meet him soon.
