you can't just view the iCal version of your Google Calendar as described here: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us... ? that works fine for viewing your Google Calendar in Outlook. or are you saying Google Calendar Sync doesn't work with Outlook 2010?

never mind. if you just want to view your Google Calendar in Outlook 2010 (1-way sync), the iCal version should work just fine. if you want 2-way sync (i.e. enter calendar items in Outlook and have them move to Google Calendar) then you probably want Google Calendar Sync, which, it turns out is hardcoded by Google to not work with Office 2010. http://www.markwilson.co.uk/blog...

Credibility is to some extent gained through approval by others. Commercial approval is not the easiest kind to get. So to a certain extent I agree. However, having sponsorship for your blog does not make you uber-credible.

I just had the pleasure of 3hours of rational debate, discussion and arguments today. Reductio ad absurdum is an effective tactic one friend often uses, which generates polarized comparisons. It would be getting harder to register firstname.lastname by now (Unless you have a more unique name). After the main one is taken you get reverse name taken lastname.firstname then they start spilling out to using initials which multiplies the amount of people that could also use it. One thing I have noticed is that in any ovie, v show, etc where anything odd happens, the English are always portrayed as standing in place saying something like "This can't be happening" or some stupid thing like that, when it clearly IS happening. Is this some sort of national trait? I like to think that if, say, the dead rise and turn on the living, I would fight back + run to safety FIRST and worry about the ontological implications after.

I do something similar. When I notice incoming links, I share them in Google Reader. This ends up on Friendfeed, of course, and gets shared with the few folks who follow my GR. I have a sidebar feature on my personal blog set to pick up the gReader bookmarks and parse them as HTML, which Google indexes. Finally, I pipe my gReader shares to Twitter via Twitterfeed.

I gave up on Gmail years ago for precisely this reason. They pass on mail that only the insane or dead would think wasn't spam. I believe that most spam should be caught at the server and never seen by the end-user. A spam folder with 1,000 messages in it shows, to me, gross incompetence on the admin's part.
